GENERAL;
Be respectful. If you have a problem with another member, talk to a staff member instead of fighting on the boards or in the c-box. Proboards TOS. You must abide by the terms of service in order to remain a member. Anyone found endangering Renascence with smut or other disallowed content will be banned. Rating. As per Proboards TOS, Renascence must maintain a PG-13 rating. Use fade to black, or omit details where applicable. MEMBERS;
One character per account. Each character must be on a separate account. Character limit. Currently there is no character limit. However, your new characters may be denied at staff discretion if they believe you have created too many to keep active. Length. There is no specified word or paragraph limit. Level. Renascence is considered a free for all roleplay, and does not stand by labels of advanced or literate. CHARACTERS;
The world is Arlezar. Not Earth, not Pern, and certainly not Middle Earth. Characters should fit the setting, though you may ask in the Feedback board or message a staff member if you are unsure of your character's appropriateness for Renascence's setting. Inactivity. If you go on vacation for a long time period, or your are inactive without warning, your accounts will all be changed to the Inactive group, so others will know you are not around. To be reinstated, PM a staff member on your return. Character acceptance. Staff will attempt to evaluate your character profile within 72 hours of it's completion. You may post WIP's, though you will need to PM a staff member once the profile is completed. GRAPHICS;
Avatars. Your icons should be no larger than 100px by 200px. Posted images. Any image posted to the boards, including signatures, that stretch the boards will be modified by code (and they will look stupid and squished). A reasonable signature size is 550px by 300px. CHAT BOX;
The c-box is guest friendly. This means they can see everything you write, and they can comment. Guests are free to chat or ask questions. No advertising. This includes members, and site admins who post in the cbox to tell us our banner is up. This is what the Diplomacy board is for. Complaining. Pestering staff to accept your character, or threatening to quit if you are not accepted within x minutes/hours will be ignored.
